Clapham Junction - The Busiest Station interchange in the UK! With over 100 arrivals and departures in the space of an hour in peak hours and 2000 trains passing through the station daily. There are three entrances all with manned ticket offices. However – Berney Arms is a little smaller than this. With a grand total 4 request stop services Monday to Saturday, Two in each direction! Though on Sunday this changes in to a mammouth 10 trains. Despite this increase in trains Greater Anglia (Abellio) have decided on keeping this station unmanned with no ticket office to meet this influx and station facilities extend to a bike rack.. Berney Arms is inaccessible by car, leaving three main options to get to this cache, by foot/bike, by boat or by train. This is not a dash and cache! You are looking for a small container with log only, you will need cache removal tool and a pen. Placed on the first day of the Summer Timetable 2014. Cache placed with the kind permission of Broads Authority Well done Breakspear! A worthy FTF Please note - the nearby pub, which this halt serves, is currently in limbo and up for sale / sold (Sept 2016). As such there is no guarentee it will be open. I would advise phoning ahead. As I would for train times too to ensure you are able to alight and get back again if you are travelling by train.
