Wer denkt, dass ein Grasberg nicht viel mehr als ein Hügel ist, liegt falsch. Bestes Beispiel ist der Hundstein im Pinzgau. Der Aufstieg ist lang, egal ob von Maria Alm oder von Zell am See aus, und wer auf den Hundstein will, kann schnell auf den Hund kommen, verfügt er nicht über ausreichend Kondition. Der 2117 Meter hohe Hundstein ist einer der höchsten Grasberge Europas und die höchste Erhebung der Dientener Grasberge zwischen Steinernem Meer und Hochkönig im Norden und den schneebedeckten Gipfeln der Hohen Tauern im Süden.

Whoever thinks that a grass mountain is nothing more than a hill is wrong. The best example of this is the Hundstein in Pinzugau. The ascent is long, wheter it's from Maria Alm or from Zell am See, if you go too quickly you will run out of steam. The 2,117 metre high Hundstein is one of the highest grass mountains in Europe and the highest elevation of the Dientner grass mountains.
