Este cache está localizado no Belvedere do Espigão. Este ponto proporciona uma vista maravilhosa da Serra Gaúcha. No fundo do vale se encontra o Rio das Antas, hoje represado pela três usinas do Complexo Energético Rio das Antas.
Da plataforma é possível avistar a Casa de Força da Usina Monte Claro, localizada no fim do Reservatório da Usina 14 de Julho.
Esta área sempre foi frequentada por moradores da região e por turistas. A plataforma de observação, no entanto, é de construção recente, tendo sido edificada em meados do ano 2000. A área foi posteriormente pavimentada e revitalizada e um restaurante se instalou no local, sendo hoje um dos pontos turísticos mais bem conservados do município, e também um dos mais visitados pela sua proximidade com a RSC-470.
Caso esteja de passagem pela região, vale a pena a parada e a visita a este lugar tão espetacular.
Não recomendável visitar o local à noite, mas durante o dia é seguro.

This cache is located in the look-up point Belvedere do Espigão. This point provides a wonderful view of Serra Gaúcha. In the bottom of the valley, there is the Rio das Anatas, today dammed by three hidroeletric power plants of Rio das Antas Energetic Complex.
From the platform, it is possible to see the powerstation of the Monte Claro power plant, at the end of the resevoir of 14 de Julho power plant.
This place has been visited by inhabitants from the region and for tourists for a long time. The platform, however, was built around the year 2000. The area was later paved and revitalized, and a restaurant was built in the local, and today the place is one of the best mantained touristic points of the city and also one of the most visited, due to the proximity with the RSC-470.
If you are driving around the region, it is a good idea to stop by, get a smile and see such a nice place.
Not recommend during the night, it might be an unsafe place, but during daytime it is fine.
