Throughout history, long before the Roman, Greek, and even Egyptian dynasties, there were what are
now considered "secret societies." In the beginning, they were simply organized groups of similar
minded individuals. Prior to the Egyptian empire (before 3,000 BC), the society known only by this
symbol “
“ which crudely translates to "TRUTH" reigned throughout the entire world and established
their presence on six of the seven continents.
As the public became aware of their existence, they were persecuted, exiled, and slaughtered. The
survivors quickly went into hiding or were fortunate enough not to be tied back to the core group.
Those who were fortunate enough to stay under the radar, found apprentices and eventually their
visions became the frameworks of the new tighter groups.
Historians and authorities have tied groups ranging from the Freemasons, Illuminati, and even the
Cicada 3301 to the “Truth” group. The requirements for joining these types of groups involve tenacity,
discretion, loyalty, and free thought.
Egyptian, Greek, and Roman mythologies were incarnations of the survivors' discipline. In an era where
education was rare, they fought to educate and control the masses through religion, a practice which
has continued well beyond their times.
As distant descendants of this Truth group, we implore you to be tenacious and thorough as it will pay off in the end.

PROLOGUE:
After the death of Medusa, the few remaining Gorgons attacked and captured Athena in retaliation for the death of their leader.
STORY:
Since "Athena’s Revenge" (http://coord.info/GC1KQC2), where mere mortals found and released hope which was locked within Pandora’s Box, Athena and the mortals have been at odds. When word spread that Athena had gone missing, Zeus saw it as an opportunity to mend the relationship between the mortals and Athena. You have been summoned by Zeus to Mount Olympus. If you choose to accept this quest, fear not, you will not be alone. Apollo has left you hints and help to locate the Gorgan lair.
MISSION:
You, as an adventurer must follow the clues that Zeus left for you to rescue his daughter. By using your GPS, and what you find along the way, you may find a way to restore Athena’s faith in humanity and rescue her from the Gorgons. Be prepared to provide an offering to Athena (in the form of tradable items) at the end of your journey.
When you arrive at Mount Olympus, you will be searching for seven letters left for you by Zeus.
The letters are etched into metal and can be reached by climbing OR following the trail past the rocks and around the rock structure. If it is or has been raining, please use the second method for retrieving the letters.
This stage involves a field puzzle. Do not leave the area until you have solved the puzzle as the second stage is relatively nearby.
Once found, you should be able to decipher the following note:

We are accepting his invitation to “follow, and hide more of those complex and challenging caches that are so deeply satisfying to complete”. This is an unofficial sequel to the “Athena’s trilogy” which included Athena’s Companion, Athena’s Curse, and Athena’s Revenge. As the experiences that the originals provided will never be matched, we attempted to incorporate what we could on a limited budget. Replace all clues and “things” EXACTLY as you found them.
