Come join us in roasting hot dogs and marshmallows around the campfire along the John Paul Hammerschmidt Lake in the rolling hills of Arkansas. The Hot Dog Roast and Campout event will be held in the group camping area of the park at Pavilion 4 and is always a fun event for both kids and adults! This area is also called the Scout Camp area. It has been tradition to campout or stay in local lodging after the annual event(GC4WQ9A) so we can all wake up bright and early and help with the CITO @ GC4WQCW.
We will begin around 7pm and roast hot dogs and marshmallows until everyone is tired and ready to go on their way or hop into their tent/camper. This event is open to all Geocachers and is FREE! You do not need to be camping to attend this event. If you would like to camp in something a little more "plush" than a tent feel free to check out the www.recreation.gov site to reserve one of the 37 of 52 sites that are available(as of 5/8/2014). Most of the sites offer full hookups. If you are new to geocaching please swing by for a lovely evening of "Meet-N-Greet" style events.

We are asking all members of Arkgeo to help make our funds go further by bringing a favorite beverage to share and/or a dessert or side item.
