It's Better in Braselton

This cache used to be a part of the Jackson County Heritage Trail, but is now a stand-alone cache
Originally located in the bell tower of Braselton High School, it was commissioned by Sen. Isaac Frank Duncan. The high school, built by the town’s founders, closed in 1957 and the bell returned to the Duncan family. The senator’s grandchildren later donated the bell to the town; it was rededicated in 2004 and is housed in a gazebo.

Welcome to the Braselton Town Hall. This is a short three part multi cache. In the essence of time management, we made this one intentionally brief. You will need to proceed to stage I in order to secure the information necessary to calculate your steps to stage II. At Stage II you will need to secure information to take to the third and final stage. The final stage is a fun little cache that we hope the kids will enjoy.
Stage I: Take a moment to read about the historical significance of the Braselton family in this region. William Braselton, Sr and his wife Susan established a 796 acre farm in western Jackson County. They settled in with the help of their children and developed several support businesses in the area that grew to become pivotal in the growth of this community. How many children did the Braseltons' have??? Number of children = X. Be sure to read carefully, and check your commas!
