Ruska ulica je ena izmed ulic v Spodnji Šiški
Ulica je bila zgrajena med prvo svetovno vojno kot povezovalna pot med Celovško cesto in tedanjim gorenjskim kolodvorom. Ker so jo zgradili ruski vojni ujetniki, je dobila po njih tudi ime.
Ulica je bila uradno tako poimenovana 3. maja 1938. Med italijansko okupacijo v času druge svetovne vojne je bila ulica preimenovana v Javornikovo cesto, a je bila po koncu vojne preimenovana nazaj v Rusko ulico.

Street was built during the First World War as a connecting route between one of the main streets and one railway station. Because it was built by Russian prisoners of war, it gets the name.
The street was officially named on 3. May in 1938 during the Italian occupation during the Second World War, the street was renamed during the war, but after the war it was renamed back to Russian street.
