The Lydford Logbook is a walk of 5.5 miles on byways, footpaths, bridleways and a short lane, from West Lydford through East Lydford, Lydford - on - Fosse, Keinton Manderville and back. The walk took me 2.5 hours to set. There are 31 caches in the series and two Church Micros on the route.
As with other walks in the area it can get muddy after wet weather, particularly between Lydford - on - Fosse and the byway to Babcary.
Care is needed when crossing the A37 at two points, there are no livestock fields on the route.
There are a varied selection of container types with opportunities to drop off trackables.
All caches are hidden to be found so you can enjoy the walk, i visit the area regularly but should you find a damp/wet log or even a container missing i am more than happy for it to be replaced should you carry spares prior to my next visit.
