Geocache Description:

A Flash Mob Event from 18:00 to 18:15 on Saturday 7th June 2014, as part of the 11th Official World Wide Flash Mob Geocaching Event.

It is also the last day of my first year of geocaching! Come help me celebrate!

WWFM XI

WWFM – World Wide Flash Mobs – A fun and friendly way to promote geocaching around the world. Thousands of geocachers at coordinated events spanning the globe, gathering at the same time. Last year for WWFM X there were 558 events in 42 countries bringing 25,125 geocachers together at the same time! Come and make WWFM XI this year even bigger!

Come to the corner of Potters Field Park, on the South Bank of the River Thames near Tower Bridge.

The event will only be from 18:00 to 18:15 so make sure you're there early!

Wear or carry something RED so that we all recognise each other. A red umbrella, a red t-shirt, a Santa hat, or anything else you can think of! There may be prizes for the reddest!

Afterwards, be sure to submit your "attended" log within 2 weeks of the event in order to receive a special Geocaching.com WWFM XI SOUVENIR. The souvenir has now been announced and guaranteed. See the Groundspeak Geocaching Blog about the WWFM XI here!

Hello everyone!

Well... It looks like WWFM XI is on track to be the biggest World Wide Flash Mob ever, with a recordbreaking 790+ events scheduled in 52 countries.

Don't forget to wear or carry something red and get there at the beginning if you want to get a chance for a gift/prize! (I wasn't expecting quite this many people, so it may only be the first 10 to 15 red people that get the freebies)

Everyone will still definitely get the electronic souvenir on their Geocaching.com profile. Please don't forget to submit your "attended" log within 2 weeks to ensure you get the souvenir! That's the 21st of June. Make sure if you log it any time after Saturday that you do so through the website (not the mobile app), and that you backdate it to the date of the event (7th June), or the souvenir may not work.

In total there were 792 events held in 52 countries!
Well on track to be record breaking!
(we'll see if that's the case once we know how many people attended in total, world-wide)

I've counted how many people were at the event. I was told by the WWFM people to count the number of attendees, number of people in each team, etc, not the amount of caching logs on here.

I make the official number of people that attended to be: 69

Thank you all very much for coming, and for making the effort to dress in red or bring something red with you.

I'm also attaching the group photo to this gallery, and that will be the one that gets sent to the WWFM people.
