Alfresco Picnic and Package Pick-up Thursday, Oct 16th 1-4pm Lock and Dam Park Floyd County, GA
Rome is famous for its three rivers ─ the Oostanaula, the Etowah and the Coosa. When cotton was king, Rome was a bustling hub for cotton trading and shipping. Join us at the shoals of the Coosa River for some fun, food and toe-tapping music! Bring your own picnic and eat with us along the banks of the mighty Coosa. You can explore the lock and dam to see how cotton made its way from Rome to Mobile, Alabama and on to the looms in England. We'll have music and entertainment along with package pick-up of items you bought in the online store.
● The Lock and Dam Park has kindly waived the $2 parking fee for this event. ● Pets are welcome in the parks but must be on a 6' leash at all times. Pets are not allowed at indoor venues or the stadium. Please be a good pet owner and clean up after your pet. ● Visit these links for more information: Geocaching.comGoingcaching.com
