Meet up with old friends and make new ones too. It is suitable for all; young, old, families and couples.
There is ample free, off road parking on one side of the church hall and there is additional parking at the given waypoint.
The church hall is close to local amenities and for those who want something to eat, there are shops, takeaways and cafes nearby to obtain sustenance.
Given the interest shown in this year's event already, we will compile a list of nearby B&B's, campsites and hotels for those who have indicated they may require an overnight stay.
The Amasons will provide tea, coffee and squash to quench your thirst.
There are a number of caches in Hykeham and in the surrounding countryside if you fancy a short hike (Hyke – get it?). It is hoped to publish several more to coincide with this event. FTF for the event will be drawn from the obligatory canister, so bring a card with your caching name on it. This draw will take place at 3.59pm.
There will be a raffle, the start of a TB race and several geocaching suppliers will hopefully attend. The raffle will be drawn at 4.00pm and due to the size of some of the prizes, you will need to be present to claim them. If you aren’t there, the raffle will be drawn again until someone does.
There will also be a few Travel Bugs and Geocoins to discover. Feel free to bring yours with you. The event closes at 4.30pm but feel free to join us afterwards for a pint at the local hostelry.
