Geocache Description:

It seems Mag's "backyard" is in need of a little tidying up. I brought out as much as I could on my last trip, but there is still more to go (and some stuff too big for me to carry on my kayak). For those brave enough for an evening paddle in the middle of the work week, come join us with your water faring vessel for a special trip into the heart of the lair itself!

We will be meeting at the posted coordinates at 4 PM on Wednesday, May 7th to paddle out with high tide and grab the trash along Dunn Creek. This is a good parking spot at the mouth of the creek to put small recreational vehicles into the water (kayaks, canoes, and small craft with outboard motors). If you can't make it right at 4, just drop your boat in the water when you get there and catch up with the CITO crew. You'll be sure to see us out there if you head north, we'll be moving slow enough anyway.

The areas in need of the most cleaning are "Mag's Secret Lair" (GC4PY00) and the island occupied by "Dawgy Paddle!!" (GC4YP37). From there, you can turn around and return to parking to drop your trash/head home (3/4 mile return paddle) or continue on with the group for (1-1/4 miles) to reach the north landing. There will be other trash along the way, but nothing quite as bad as those 2 locations. We will plan to pull the boats out of the water no later than 8 PM so we can beat the sunset. You may not have adequate time before dark to find all the caches hidden on this section of creek, so if you intend to stay out longer you need to bring a light for your boat as well (it's the law). Magtplanner will provide trash bags for the clean-up and transportation back to the vehicles from the North Landing.

There will also be a fully stocked ammo can prize for the geocacher who collects the most bagged trash along the way...but these are survival of the fittest rules, so you need to make sure to have "claimed" your trash to keep others from snatching your loot.
