Geocache Description:

YOU WILL NEED A BOAT the safe option I have pick out for you is from Averham to the Nettle island then to North muskham there is no weir's on this section. It's is about 5 and a half miles. ............................................................................................................................... (Not suitable for swimming across)

Weir's are DANGEROUS with out knowledge!. The Newark loop is about 8 miles You can do it from Newark lock weir as I did. going up river to averham weir this one is a big weir you will need to know what you're doing here then down river to nettle island down river to crankley point you can see the A1 here you go back up river get out at weir to miss it out not a nice one this weir get back in long way a way at the top so not to got washed down and back to Newark castle and get out near footbridge! all safety gear must be worn! 《FTF the inbetweeners 》
