Der Startpunkt ist
ein Parkplatz einer kleinen Waldkapelle, wo man sein Fahrzeug gut
abstellen kann. Du erreichst ihn von dem Ort SCHALKENBACH aus. Die
Straße mit dem Schild „Durchfahrt verboten, bis Kapelle frei“ darf
bis zum Parkplatz befahren werden.
Von hier aus
gehe zu Fuß über ca. 2,5km Feld- und Waldwege zur nächsten
Koordinate (siehe Aufgabe1).
Bei guter
Fernsicht kann man dort von einem kleinen Turm aus das
Siebengebirge sehen und sogar den Kölner Dom erblicken. Hier kannst
Du dich auch über die Wacholderheide informieren. Von hier aus ist
es auch nicht mehr weit bis zum Cache.
Für den Rückweg
zum Parkplatz kann man sich Samstags und Sonntags bei N 50° 28.648
, E 007° 08.679 in der Gaststube eines nahe gelegenen Waldgutes
stärken. Geöffnet Mai bis Oktober von 12:00 bis 18:00 Uhr. Dort
bekommt man Kaffee und Kuchen und diverse Speisen und Getränke. Das
Waldgut kann nach Absprache auch besichtigt werden. Dort werden
Pferde und Ziegen gehalten und man kann z.B. frischen Ziegenkäse
kaufen.

musst bestimmten Zahlen bestimmte Buchstaben zuordnen, z.B.
Jahreszahl 1246 zu EFGH, dann ist E=1, F=2, G=4,
H=6.

The
startingpoint is located at a parkinglot of a small forestchapel.
You reach it from the village Schalkenbach. The street with the
trafficsign „Durchfahrt verboten, bis Kapelle frei“ may be used up
to the parkinglot.
From there you
go field- and forestpathes by foot, approximately 2.5 km to the
next coordinates (follow task 1).
At good weather
conditions you are able to see the „Siebengebirge“ and even the
Dome of Cologne is visible from a little tower. Here you can get
informations about the surrounding juniperland. From this point it
is also not far to the cache.
For the way
back to the parkinglot at N 50° 28.648 , E 007° 08.679 you can have
a snack at a nearby „Waldgut“ on saturdays and sundays. Opening
hours from may till october, 12:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m . There you
may have a choice of coffee, cake and several dishes and beverages.
A sightseeing of this residence is possible after settlement. They
keep horses and goats and for instance you can buy
goatcheese.
