In the spirit of continuing the series created by cacher Sean J. Allen, this cache is placed at a location from The Walking Dead television show that was filmed in and around Atlanta.
The television show is based on The Walking Dead comic book, written by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. 'The Walking Dead' is a story about the aftermath of a zombie Apocalypse and follows a group of survivors who travel across America looking for a new home to get away from the undead. The small group is lead by Sheriff Rick Grimes, who is the sheriff of a small Georgia town.
Season Four
After the devastating loss of the safety of the Prison, our group was scattered and separated, running from 'walkers' and looking for shelter and safety. Throughout the second half of Season 4, the various groups encountered signs promising sanctuary and community at a place called 'Terminus'. Following the railroad tracks, the groups met walkers and other dangers, but by the final two episodes, we finally get a glimpse of Terminus and what it has to offer.
From the cache location, you can see the actual filming location of Terminus, which is not far from an active set of rail lines and several industrial buildings. Taken on the morning I placed the cache, you can see not much has changed from the time this was filmed. The letters from the "TERMINUS" sign painted on the building are still there, but covered with plywood.
A night time hunt is not recommended. No pen inside, so bring your own.
