In 1998, 2001 of us got to take an incredible journey on a tour of islands. My brother and I, were part of that lucky group. This was not a simple phishing trip, this was the stuff of legend. The idea was simple, four days and two islands. By contrast, what followed was anything but and things soon twist around. As the horn of the boat sounded, we were soon wasting time in one of the most blissful places I have ever seen. My brother Frankie says this was as close to heaven as he has ever been. It was in the blissful place, that I met Reba. From that moment forward, it seemed as if the brightness was turned up and I could taste life in a new way. With a glass of bathtub gin in hand, all my troubles faded into the background. Each morning I awoke next to the beauty of my dreams, and the image of her I carry to this day. But like all journeys, this one had to end. All I could do was to stash the memories away and hoped they would not fade to black. Sixteen years later, I still smile whenever I think of these 4 incredible days.
