Puzzle Caches for Kids: Butterfly
#21 - What's what where?

Every picture tells a story. To find this cache read this one.

I created these Puzzle Caches for Kids because my own children saw me trying to solve some of the trickier puzzle caches and asked why there weren't any that they could try to solve.

I wanted to find a theme that both boys and girls could find interest in, so I decided to concentrate on a wildlife and countryside theme and create them in the shape of a butterfly.

At this point, I need to admit that I am not the clever one who created this wonderful shape - that honor goes to nognod, a fellow geocacher, who is skilled at creating shapes with co-ordinates and who offered his help with all aspects of getting these caches ready for publication, after creating many of his own often in clever shapes on the map.He is also willing to help anyone else who wishes to do something similar - just contact him through his geocaching profile page.

Thanks must also go to archaos who kindly agreed to move one set of his cache co-ordinates so it would be easier to fit the butterfly in this area.

Obviously, these caches aren't just for kids, but they are aimed at a level that kids won't find too difficult and adults should be able to do fairly easily - younger kids may need some assistance.

I have set out the caches in two routes of 15 caches each, each route taking maybe 2-4 hours depending on how fast you walk and how often you stop for a breather, but the caches may be done in smaller groups - if you wish to do this, you need to consider carefully where to park, as this area is quite hilly.

Enjoy!!
