The Event at the bottom of the hill, at the posted coordinates, begins at 3 pm, and will last until 4:30 pm.
Park at the Parking waypoint, and make your way down the trail and down the hill. There are caches hidden along the trail, we have permission from the land owners. We hope to have new caches published the day before the event for all to find. And, there are over a hundred existing caches within a couple of miles of the event, including several series.
A family run Maple Sugar Camp at the bottom of the trail will welcome us, where, you may, if you choose, enjoy a delicious pancake/sausage/baked beans and maple syrup meal. Details to follow.
To log the event, all you have to do is sign the log book located at the posted coordinates.
Bring the kids! It'll be a great opportunity to take family portraits. Enjoy the day!
PLEASE NOTE: IT'S IMPORTANT TO NOTE HOW MANY ATTENDEES IN YOUR GROUP/FAMILY (INCLUDING CHILDREN) IN THE "WILL ATTEND" LOG, SO WE CAN BE READY FOR EVERYONE. THANK YOU
For those that didn't know, Brent, the owner, the older gentleman who serves the pancakes, passed away last winter, and his wife Bonnie is continuing the tradition of these wonderful pancake meals.
