Geocache Description:

Welcome to Lake County. This Event is for Geocachers and those who want to learn and participate in some night geocaching.

Not a Geocacher yet, we can help you - Learn what it is all about, what GPS to consider, and how it works. Meet & Greet and enjoy the Discovery Gardens in the evening. Evening festivities will kick off at 6pm until 10pm. (So have to wait until sunset and darkness for the night geocaching - but plenty to do until that starts).

This is an event to exchange trackables and fun for children with face painting. SpaceCoast Geocaching Store will be present for all your geocaching needs and wants. Raffle for great items. Night Geocaching Trail for Children, and several for adults also.

Food & Beverages will be available for purchase.

Evening of fun, meeting new and experienced geocachers, and opportunity to learn and participate in night geocaching, although not required.

Bring your own comfortable chair, camping chairs recommended. There will be an area for geocaching short clips on the big screen.

There will be Geocaching group representatives. There will be a Travel Bug Table. And opportunities to exchange geo coins. There will be discussions about how to geocache and what to use to locate geocaches, GPS, iPhone, and different types of caches to look for, in addition to night caching.

There will be a station to upload any area caches and temporary ones just for the event.

Bring chair, flashlight, bug spray, and a GPS device (Although not required). (You do not have to be gator fan to attend.)

Planning a costume contest, come as your favorite Megacon character, alien, or just favorite costume, no aluminum required.
