Geocache Description:

A quick cache and dash with parking opposite the Towers.

Cache is a tube larger than a film pot.Cache contains log only. Please bring your own pen or pencil to sign.

Please be careful of the barbed wire attached to the post. The cache is higher up than the wire.


The Towers were built in the Gothic style for Lord Ilchester in 1755. 

The lord wanted a grand entrance leading from boundary of his park to the mansion house. The serpentine drive was designed by Henry Flitcroft who was also the architect and designer of the lakeside temples at Stourhead.
