The DeKalb County Veterans Memorial at Brook Run Park was dedicated by the Chief Executive Officer of DeKalb County, The DeKalb County Commission and the DeKalb Veterans Affairs Advisory Board, on Memorial Day, May 31, 2004.

The Memorial is “hallowed ground” and serves as a remembrance to veterans from all branches of the military, and as a remembrance to those who remain Missing in Action. The Memorial attracts veterans, their families and the general public for quiet meditation, and will keep alive in the hearts of everyone who visits the site the many sacrifices of our veterans for the freedoms that we enjoy today

Please observe Brook Run park hours: 7am to sunset.
