Am 02. Mai 2000 wurde die sogenannte 'künstliche Signalverschlechterung' bei der Satellitennavigation abgeschaltet und so das System für zivile Zwecke nutzbar gemacht, unter anderem auch für das Geocaching!
Somit gibt es unser gemeinsames Hobby jetzt bereits seit 15 Jahren.
Dazu passend gibt es eine (klitzekleine) Bedingung zur Erfüllung der Challenge:
- aus jedem Jahr seit 2000 einen Cache zu finden (es zählt das Jahr, in dem der Cache gelegt, nicht wann er gefunden wurde!),
- mindestens 9 verschiedene Cachetypen (Symbole/Icons) müssen insgesamt unter diesen Funden sein,
- Virtuals zählen nicht,
- der Status der Cache (aktiv, deaktiviert, archiviert, ...) ist nicht relevant,
- eine Zeitvorgabe zur Erfüllung der Challenge gibt es natürlich nicht, davon halte ich gar nichts,
- im Logeintrag bitte eine Liste hinterlassen, in der die jeweiligen Funde aufgeführt werden (ein Verweise auf das Benutzerprofil reicht nicht, der Logeintrag wird mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit gelöscht!)
Im Jahr 2014 kann theoretisch jeder die Logbedingung mit nur 15 Funden erfüllen, wobei die Jahre 2000 und 2001 sicherlich etwas schwieriger sein könnten.
In den folgenden Jahren ist dann natürlich immer ein Jahr mehr zu finden, d.h. 2015 sind es 16 Chaches, 2016 werden es 17 Caches sein usw.
Der Cache liegt an den angegebenen Koordinaten. Es ist Platz für kleinere TBs und Coins.
Die D-Wertung bezieht sich auf die Challenge, nicht auf dieses Cacheversteck!
On May 02, 2000 the so called 'Selective Availability' for satellite navigation was switched off and the system got usable for civilian purposes: Geocaching as we know it was born!
That means our common hobby now already exists for 15 years!
Related to this, there's a (teeny) condition to fulfil this challenge:
- find one cache from every year since 2000 (the year, when the cache was published counts, not when it was found!),
- at least 9 different cache types (icons/symbols) must be among all those founds,
- virtuals do not count,
- the status of the caches (active, disabled, archived, ...) doesn't matter,
- there's no time limit to fulfil the challenge, I don't like that,
- please write a log, where the found caches are listed (just a reference to the user profile isn't enough, the log will probably be deleted!)
In 2014 everybody can fulfil the condition with only 15 Founds, whereas the years 2000 and 2001 maybe a little bit difficult.
During the next years there's one more cache to find each year, e.g. 2015 it will be 16, 2016 it will be 17 caches and so on.
The cache is placed at the given coordinates. There's room for smaller TBs and Coins.
The D-Rating is for the challenge, not for the cache itself!
