Geocache Description:

Located just on the edge of Canberra's southern suburbia in a public land, rural setting, but not too far from civilization. The cache is a ubiquitous rectangular plastic food storage container.

A fairly simple single offset cache; needing only elementary observation and arithmetic to derive the final cache co-ordinates. Only the fractional part of the minutes of the co-ordinates change. The cache is located in the order of 3/4 of a kilometre's walking distance from the posted co-ordinates. You can walk to this cache as the crow flies but the trek is easier if you follow an established track.

1. At the posted co-ordinates find the NAME of a common public utility.

2. Using a transposition table A=1, B=2, C=3...Z=26, convert each letter of the name into its corresponding number.

3. ADD the numbers together to reach a total, XY.

4. To XY ADD 851 to give the fractional minutes of latitude, m.

5. to XY ADD 87 to give the fractional minutes of longitude, n.

The cache is located at position S35 22.m, E149 02.n.
