Rocha da Gralheira

Formação rochosa calcária a 1 km oeste de São Brás de Alportel e a norte da povoação da Gralheira. Embora o afloramento rochoso tenha apenas cerca de 300 m de extensão, permite a realização de um agradável percurso pedestre de baixa dificuldade, e com panorâmicas bonitas.

A Cache

O estacionamento sugerido não é o mais próximo da cache, mas os outros potenciais locais, ou estão em terrenos privados, ou fazem parte de um estabelecimento hoteleiro/restauração (a evitar).

A cache encontra-se no cimo de uma rocha, em que o melhor acesso é pelo lado Norte. Grande parte da dificuldade da cache é encontrar o melhor caminho…se andar apenas pelos trilhos existentes, tudo será mais fácil!

Evite fazer a cache se estiver muito vento, ou se a rocha estiver molhada e escorregadia. No cimo da rocha ande com muito cuidado e atenção às vertigens.

Originalmente o container contém Logbook, Stashnote, alguns brindes e material de escrita.

Deixe tudo como encontrou e especialmente o container bem fechado e acondicionado no seu ninho.

Não se esqueça CITO (Cache In Trash Out).

Rocha da Gralheira

Limestone formation 1 km west of São Brás de Alportel, and north of Gralheira village. Although the rocky outcrop has only about 300 m in length, allows for a pleasant and easy pedestrian route, with nice views.

The Cache

Suggested parking is not the closest to the cache, but the other potential sites, or are on private land, or part of a hotel/restaurant property (please avoid).

The cache can be found on the top of a rock, where the best access is from the north side. Much of the difficulty of the cache is to find the best path ... if you walk just by existing trails, everything will be easier!

Avoid making the cache when is windy, or if the rock is wet and slippery. On top of the rock walk carefully and be aware of vertigo.

CLIMBING GEAR/TECHNIQUE IS NOT NECESSARY!

Originally the cache contains Logbook, Stashnote, some gifts and writing material.

Leave everything as found, and especially the container tightly closed and well wrapped in its nest.

Do not forget CITO (Cache In Trash Out).
