Geocache Description:

Caching and Camping Kickoff 2014

June 20th, 2014 @ 6:00-9:00

Come out to Turtle River State Park located about 22 miles West of Grand Forks, ND for the Kickoff event. Friday is the Kickoff Event, Saturday is the Main Event and Sunday will be a CITO event. You can attend one or all of the events. New cachers and seasoned cachers are all welcome attend. There is a $5.00 per day vehicle or $25.00 annual permit.

Once again we will be having our NDGCA Caching and Camping Event Weekend. Friday we will be kicking of the events between sites 40 and 41 with a meet, eat and greet. Set up your campsite and come on over around 6:00 or earlier. We will supply BBQs, chips and some drinks starting at 6:00. You are welcome to stay after the ending time and gather around the campfire for some caching stories. 8 to 9 pm: NDGCA Presentation to park residents about geocaching (Geocaching 101) at the Amphitheater

You are welcome to stay anywhere, but some will be camping in the North campground/South loop, sites 37-50. Vehicle fees are $5.00 per day or $25.00 annual permit. Campsites with water and electrical hookups are $20.00 per day.

Saturday will consist of caching, visiting, games and a pot luck (more info to come). Sunday will be a CITO to help out the park.
