Geocache Description:

When: June 14,2014

Time: Somewhere around lunchtime

Please note in your “will attend log” how many people you will be in your party, thank you.

Make sure you sign the log so you can claim this event.

This river ride is not a dry one so if you will be offended by alcohol this may not be the event for you. With that being said use common sense please.

What to bring:

kayak or canoe
Life jacket- you will not be able to go along without one, Sorry!
Your lunch - make sure it is water tight
Picnic blanket for your party
Hand sanitizer
Toilet Paper
Plenty of water or beverage of choice
Sunscreen and bug spray
Hat
GPS with extra batteries and a pen
**You must carry out any garbage you bring in.

What not to bring:
Pets, Cigarettes or Children under the age of 10.

*Depending on the river flow I estimate this 9.5 mile trip will take 4-6 hours with stops. The intention of this trip is for a nice, fun, easy ride down the river not mad paddling for 9.5 miles! If you are not Pokey like me this may not be the trip for you. I want anyone with even the least amount of paddling skills to be able to feel at ease and enjoy this trip.

** Due to the fact I cannot foresee the river levels or the weather of June there is a chance of an event cancelation! If one event is cancelled both will be. Safety First!!
