This geocache is hidden in cooperation with the rangers of this PWN area. They are called Kees and Ger and can be found behind every tree and they like to help or inform you. If you have questions or problems you may contact me or the PWN.
In this wonderful area you can make a nice and long walking trip. For more information about this area, the waterfiltration in this area, flora and fauna you can go to Visitorcentre De Hoep (Johannisweg 2 - 1901NX - Castricum - tel. 0251 661066 - N52°33.696 / E4°38.215) in Castricum. The car can best be parked at the PWN parking lodges (N52°31.313 / E4°38.899 or N52°31.669 / E4°39.048) from these spots you have a wonderful tour to the cache.
It is very wise you wear good and solid (walking) shoes and have enough food and drinking fluids with you. In the summer time it can be very hot in this area. In every forest in the Netherlands you will be warned for ticks, also in this area. More information about ticks and Lime disease can be found on the Dutch site SAAG.
Digging is prohibited in this area! You do not need to dig to find the cache.
The geocache is a green ammobox and contains a logbook and a pencil, these should stay in the geocache. In the logboek there are some standard questions, you may answer these. The date, time and you Geocaching name are obligatory. There is enough room to write, so make a nice story in the logbook.
Rules:
- An obligatory entry card costs per person: until 5 years is free, 6 until 12 years costs € 0.30 pp, above 13 years costs € 1.50 pp
- Entry into the area is allowed between sunrise and sunset.
- Dogs are allowed if they are on a leach.
- Being outside the walking and cycling paths and playareas is prohibited.
- Bird breeding areas are prohibited areas, this will be announced, if applicable.
- Waste may not be deposited in the area.
- Digging is prohibited.

Deze geocache is verstopt in samenwerking met boswachters van het PWN gebied. Ze heten Kees en Ger en zijn te vinden achter iedere boom en staan U graag ter zijde. Bij vragen of problemen mag u altijd contact met mij of met de PWN opnemen.
Je kunt in dit gebied mooie, lange wandeltochten maken en je zult gegarandeerd een leuke dag hebben. De auto kunt U het beste neerzetten op de PWN parkeerplaatsen (N52°31.313 / E4°38.899 of N52°31.669 / E4°39.048) vanaf deze punten heeft U een zeer mooie wandeling door het gebied.
Het is raadzaam om goede stevige (wandel)schoenen te dragen en voldoende voeding en drinkwaren mee te nemen. Het kan zomers erg warm worden in dit gebied. Verder wordt er in ieder bosgebied in Nederland gewaarschuwd voor teken, dus ook hier in dit bosgebied. Meer informatie over teken is te vinden op de website van SAAG.
Graven is niet nodig om de geocache te vinden en is zelfs verboden in dit gebied.
De geocache is een groene ammobox en bevat een logboek en een vulpotlood, beide moeten uiteraard in de geocache blijven. Voorin het logboek zitten een aantal standaard vragen, die U mag beantwoorden, doch de datum, de tijd en Uw Geocaching Naam zijn wel verplicht. Er is genoeg schrijfruimte, dus maak er wel een leuk verhaal van in het logboek.
Regels:
- Een verplichte toegangskaart voor het gebied kost per persoon: tot 5 jaar is gratis, 6 tot en met 12 jaar kost € 0.30 pp, vanaf 13 jaar kost € 1.50 pp
- Toegang van zonsopkomst tot zonsondergang mag men zich in het gebied begeven.
- De hond mag mee mits kort aangelijnd.
- Uitsluitend gebruik maken van voet- en fietspaden en speelterreinen, buiten de paden begeven is verboden.
- Vogelbroedgebieden zijn in het broedseizoen verboden voor bezoekers, dit wordt duidelijk aangegeven, indien van toepassing.
- Er mag geen afval in het gebied gedeponeerd worden, er staan genoeg afvalbakken bij de speelterreinen.
- Graven is verboden.
