2014 CITO WEEKEND
		Now is one of the rare opportunities that we, as Geocachers, get to kill two birds with one stone. We can "log a find" and help out our community all at the same time. A special bonus to this event is that all attendees will be granted a special CITO souvenir like the one pictured to the left. More info about the souvenir can be found on the Geocaching Blog. This CITO event will be located at one of the more historical and beautiful areas of Riverside, Mt Rubidoux. Although the focus will be on the northern part of the hill, there will be plenty of work needed on the relatively flat and paved Santa Ana River Trail as well.
This event is being sponsored by the Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful project. They will be providing tools such as safety vests, gloves, trash pickers, rakes, hoes, shovels, graffiti remover and trash bags as well as bag pick up after the event. All participants will be required to fill out a waiver form prior to participating. Waivers can be found here.
We will begin at 9:00 am and expect to spend at least an hour or two at the location. There should be plenty of parking available at the posted coordinates. Water is also available at drinking fountains, but water bottles are always recommended for caching adventures. All attendees, upon signing the log, will receive a raffle ticket for a giveaway that will take place at a nearby event following the CITO. Hope to see you there.
