HISTORIE
První písemný doklad o obci pochází z roku 1283 a majitel obce byl Jenczka z Moravice.Obec tvořil malý statek,krerý byl pak majitelem rozšířen a v roce 1461 ji odkoupil Budivoj z Moravice,který pak také odkoupil sousední panství Vikštejn spolu s hradem Vikštejn.
Zbytky hradu Vikštejn
Z tohoto období pochází pravděpodobně pečetní znamení Moravice s vyobrazením sekáče s kosou. Jedná se o vyjádření zemědělské povahy obce a současně o vyjádření typického zaměstnání tehdejších moravických obyvatel.
V roce 1526 získali obec Stošové z Kounic a drželi ji následující půlstoletí. Od konce 16. stol. lze sledovat silnou německou migraci do Moravice, takže o století později to již byla obec takřka úplně německá.
Po roce 1945 došlo k odsunu a vysídlení většiny německého obyvatelstva a Moravice byla postupně osídlována českým a slovenským obyvatelstvem z vnitrozemí.

This cache lead you to to small village named Moravice
HISTORY
First written document about this village comes from year 1283 and owner of village was Jenczka from Moravice.Village formed small farm,which have been extended and in the year 1461 was village repurchased by Budivoj from Moravice,who also bought neighboring manor Vikštejn with the castle Vikštejn

From this period probably comes seal sign of Moravice with ilustration of chisel and scythe.It is expression of agricultural nature of village and also expression of typical employment of former population of Moravice.
In year 1526 acquired a village Stošové from Kounic and the kept her for a half of century.From the end of 16th century,we can see powerful german migration to Moravice,so a century later was this village almost german.
After year 1945 comes to expulsion and displacement of the most of german population and Moravice was gradually colonized by czech and slovak population from inland.
