Geocache Description:

The parish church is Anglican, and is dedicated to the Holy Trinity and was consecrated on 21 August 1832 by the Bishop of Salisbury. This church took about 15 years to build and was designed Edward Garbet. The church was designed after 13th century early English style, and Salisbury Cathedral chooses as a pattern. Interestingly the rose (or wheel) window on the west front is not visitable from the inside, but is resulting inth vaulted ceilings. Apparently The tower was an afterthought...and designed andbuild by John Buckler built the tower between 1827 and 1828.
