Enter Lakeview Park from the northwest. Walk approximately 30 feet down (south) the main path that leads to a large grassy area. Break to your left (east) to a small footpath that has a very slight uphill grade. Look for a downed log off to your right. As you get closer, think like a small animal that would like to take shelter just off the trail (about six feet) in a cool, dark place. The container includes a logbook and many hand-made rubber band bracelets for the adventerous explorer. This neighborhood park is affectionately known as "mud park" to us locals and has been the site of sledding, baseball, football, and picnics for many years. Enjoy!
