This group of formics (aka "buggers") were experimented on by their overlords, and after numerous tests, they lost their value as test subjects. They were subsequently sent as expendable scouts to Earth, to plan for the impending invasion of our planet. Sadly for them (though perhaps good for us) they crash landed, and no own has heard anything more from them.
Can you find them? It is reported that they glow in the dark, as a result of experimentation, so perhaps that will aid you in your quest to find them. Do you show them mercy, and thereby avoid an intergalactic war? Or will you kill them, confirming their suspicions that we are a brutal and violent race? Or perhaps something else? Their last known location was somewhere near this dirt road spur off the paved road. A good place to park would be where the two roads intersect. Then, start walking down the dirt road, looking in the nearby trees on either side of the road for the formics and their "ship." After 100 feet or so, you will reach a sign that says "Study Area: Keep Out." At that point, turn around (you've gone two far), they are somewhere between that sign and the intersection where you could have parked.
