Wicomico County is a beautiful place to enjoy anytime of the year, but the summer months are full of activities. Whether you're looking for places to hike, visiting museums, shopping, canoeing, kayaking, etc. there is something for everyone. Beautiful views are an added bonus! Geocaching in Wicomico offers cachers a wide range of caching experiences from P&G's to challenging hikes, with everything in between! The geocachers of the eastern shore want everyone to experience and enjoy the beauty of the county while meeting other cachers and building lasting friendships. Within 10 miles of the event are over 230 active geocaches! We'll be enjoying all kinds of activities and geocaching too. Of course you're welcome to stay the weekend or even all week at one of the nearby campgrounds or lodgings.
As at any geocaching event registration is FREE the day of the event - but preregistration is suggested! You'll be able to preorder all kinds of goodies as soon as our store opens on the website. Quantities will be limited the day of the event.

What is the 2014 Wicomico Geocache Dash?
The 2014 Wicomico Geocache Dash is a geocache trail that is hosted by the Wicomico County Convention and Visitor's Association and the Wicomico County Tourism Department that takes cachers to 20 exciting locations across Wicomico County including two boat-only caches so that cachers can experience some of Wicomico's beautiful waterways.
The Dash works on a passport system and the first 200 cachers who find 18 of the 20 caches will earn a trackable GeoCoin! The Dash is designed to introduce people to some of Wicomico County's "Hidden Treasures", and can easily be completed in one day.
What is the 2014 Wicomico Geocache Dash Celebration Event?
The 2014 Wicomico Geocache Dash Celebration Event is a free, family-friendly, pet-friendly party celebrating the 2014 Wicomico Geocache Dash trail. This event is open to the public and participation in the 2014 Wicomico Geocache Dash is not required! Come on out and meet other cachers from near and far and share some of your Wicomico Geocache Dash adventure stories! 300 people attended last year's Celebration Event! Our goal this year is to have 500 attendees so that this event can be classified as a Mega-Event!
