A free luxury TB hotel just off junction 27 of the M4. This can be a quick cache and dash or a day out to drop off some of your TBs that you have held for too long.

Hello and welcome to our 6th cache in the Rogerstone Scouts Series.

To celebrate our recent 100th find we have decided to break our streak of nano caches and place a cache a bit larger in size.

The cache is located just down from the 14 locks centre which is the best place to park to retrieve the cache.

The cache is just 5 minutes off J27. 

The cache is able to accommodate TBs which you may have held on for too long free of charge in this luxury hotel (ok it's just a Tupperware box!)

At time of placement the cache contains 2 Tb's for the FTF (Toy story 1 and Rogerstone Scout's Welsh Flag Tag) it also contains one Royal British legion fluff ball, a log book, information card, pencil and Trackable guide.

Please make sure to camouflage the site after you find it to keep it hidden. The 14 locks is a scheduled ancient monument under Cadw so please keep the area clean and leave it as best as possible like how you found it. It therefore also makes the area a good chance to practice some CITO.

The canal is popular with muggle for lots of activities from horse riding to cycling so stealth will be required to retrieve the cache.

The idea of a TB hotel is to always have at least one trackable in the cache so if you haven't got a TB to replace the one you remove please wait until their is more than one otherwise it will be a vacant hotel.

We would recommend wearing sensible footwear such as walking boots or wellies as this area gets muddy after rain. (especially over the last few weeks!)

The car-park closes at 4pm daily. The centre has a cafe selling refreshments and there is also a small museum on the 14 locks. Every year the centre also has a fundraising day around August / September time with boat rides.
