Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series of Geocaches hidden in different countries and even continents! The series has ten caches including one bonus cache. To obtain the co-ordinates for the bonus cache, you need to find the other nine first. It's not easy - you will have to visit 6 continents and 10 countries to find the bonus cache!

The information required for the bonus co-ordinate is located on the inside of the cache container lid.

This cache is hidden in Daniels Park. It is 1000 acres in size and the only Denver Mountain Park in Douglas County. The park is characterized by its unique sandstone ridge setting, historic ranch, bison herd, and spectacular view of the Front Range. Daniels Park is 21 miles south of Denver. Florence Martin donated the park to the City in two parcels. The first 40-acre area at the shelter house was given in 1920. The remainder of the 1000.65 acres was donated in 1937. Most of the park is a Bison preserve and natural area where visitors can view the animals in a high-plains habitat. The shelter house and picnic areas offer some of the best views of the mountains that can be seen from the metro area.

Daniels Park has several other caches, including a virtual where the Kit Carson Memorial marks the site of Carson’s last campfire in 1868. Each of the locations shown in the photographs has an assortment of geocaches. I have been to the top of each of these locations several times.

State: Colorado; Country: USA; Continent: North America

The cache may be slightly repositioned when the snow melts and other potential hiding spots are available. In the mean time, while there is so much snow cover, please make tracks so the casual visitor isn't led directly to the cache. Thanks! I wanted to get this placed so the bonus cache can be published..
