Saindo do centro da vila em direcção ao Caldeirão a sensivelmente 500 metros do centro da vila encontramos a “ Grades Brancas” que se destaca do resto da paisagem, pela cor que contrasta com o resto da paisagem.
Trata-se de um dos locais “obrigatórios” para tirar uma fotografia. De lá é possível ter uma vista quase total sobre a vila, incluindo o cais, o aeroporto e a praia, de lá avista-se também a vizinha ilha das Flores.

I tis one of the “biding” sites for take pictures. From there is possible for one visit almost full over the village, including the pier, the airport and the beach, from there we can see too our neighboring the Flores Island.
