LAT: Kojas upīte sākas netālu no bijušā kolhoza "Kurzeme" darbnīcām. Par šo upi stāsta, ka tā agrāk bijusi liela. Upei pāri stiepies tilts. Reiz mājās braukuši tirdzinieki no Aizputes, braucis arī kāds večuks ar sievu, krietni iereibuši. Tieši uz tilta veča iesaukusies: "Ratā koja," - jo bijusi iebāzusi kāju ritenī. Vecais, domādams, ka tā ir dziesma, arī saucis: "Rata koja, rata koja, rata koja!" - nemaz nemanīdams, ka sievai kāja pušu. Šie bijuši no kāda tālāka novada atbraukuši. Arī pārējie braucēji traci sadzirdējuši un upi nosaukuši par Koju.

The old man not noticing accident with his wife’s leg thought that she is singing and also shout out loud ‘Leg in a wheel, leg in a wheel, leg in a wheel!’ Other people hearing this uproar named the river Koja.
