This cache is part of a series of Geocaches hidden in different countries and even continents! The series has ten caches including one bonus cache. To obtain the coordinates for the bonus you need to find the other nine first. It's not easy, you will have to visit 6 continents and 10 countries to complete the series! Cache N° 5 is hidden in here in Hillcrest, South Africa.
The World Series
The series was originally initiated by Camborne Round Table from Redruth, Cornwall, England, but now involves many different owners from all over the world. The other caches are located in Brazil, Germany, Canada, USA, Scotland, England, South Africa, Australia, Qatar and New Zealand. We were privileged to be asked to place N° 5 in South Africa.

The Alverstone Wildlife Park is a beautiful 100 ha reserve in the KZN Midlands.
It hosts a variety of game and contains a quaint chapel with a lovely view of the valley. The reserve is a mix of grassland and forest and is home to a wide variety of bird and animal species. There are three waterfalls and two dams within the reserve.
The cache is located at the entrance to the park (but on the outside) and the chapel is on the left.
The reserve is managed by the Alverstone Wildlife Conservancy and access is by appointment only - phone 083 683 0039 or 082 455 1472 to arrange. Advertised facilities include a hide, picnic area, braai facility, guided walks, birding, game viewing and view sites.
