Bunjil: Unfortunately there does not seem to be any evidence that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. It would appear the owner of this cache listing is no longer interested in the cache and the cache has been abandoned.

As such the cache is being de-listed (Archived). If there are components or remnants of the cache, please recover them as we don't want to litter our environment with Georubbish.

Geocache Description:

Gravity Hill is a crazy stretch of road where things (including you in your car) seem to roll uphill. Try it! Stop your car on the road near the co-ordinates, put it in neutral, then sit back and enjoy the anomaly. Don’t believe us?

The cache: You’re looking for a 1l Sistema container. There is logbook, but you’ll need to BYO pen.
Swappables for the first few finders include: a sneaker key-ring; a golf ball, a little copper Grecian urn; and a red, jewelled trinket box.

Safety first! The cache is on the east side of Straws lane, opposite the driveway.
Obey the road rules and only perform U-turns at the break in the double lines in front of the driveway.
To avoid U-turns, approach GZ from the north (driving away from Hanging Rock).
Only park on the east side of the road; there is plenty of room to pull right off the road.

Terrain: Here be rubbish and native animals - we saw a huge, spiky-bummed echidna! The terrain rating is to encourage you to wear proper shoes and watch where you’re walking. As always, be careful with little tackers around roads.

Log in, trash out: Sadly, some visitors to Gravity Hill have mistaken the area for a bottle dump. We encourage you to take 10 bottles away with you (we did!) after you have signed the log book. Mr Spiky Bum will appreciate it.
