Geocache Description:

PLEASE NOTE THIS CACHE WILL BE TAKEN DOWN APRIL 14, 2014. THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING IN OUR SNOWDAYS SERIES AND WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US FOR SNOWDAYS 2015!

Grab a pair of cross-country skis and head out for the day!  You'd rather walk?  No problem, just remember to keep footprints and paw prints off the ski tracks.  This cache will introduce you to a brand new venue for all to enjoy.

Pick up a campground map from Parks Canada at the Banff Visitor Information Centre to help you find your way.

Please do not place any trade items in this container - We prefer that visitors focus on the location of the cache and story that the cache will communicate, rather than trade items. This will also prevent a cache from containing items that may attract wildlife.

Please also do not drive beyond the barricade and keep footprints off of the cross-country ski tracks. There is construction occurring in the general area. Be aware and avoid construction vehicles.

This is the 3rd cache in a series of 5 caches created exclusively for SnowDays, a month-long festival jam-packed with mid-week events and weekend festivals that celebrate Banff’s historic love for winter. Print Passport, visit all 4 remaining SnowDays cache sites that are listed and linked on the same page you find the passport and "stamp" the icon found on each container into your passport.

Find all 4 caches, fill up your passport  and you will be rewarded with a collectable coin to be claimed from the Banff Lake Louise Tourism desk at the Banff Visitor Information Centre located at 224 Banff Ave or the Lake Louise Visitor Information Centre located in the Samson Mall in the Lake Louise Village.  Limited to one coin per passport.

Event Runs until mid April, 2014.

Hint: Camping season is over but we're still open.  You may gain more "information" than you expected once you find the cache.
