Geocache Description:

A simple cache in a quietish corner of the university. Is now more frequented than before the university village was created. The cache will need stealth due to regular passers by on foot and car. Watch for lunchers nearby. The cache is log only byo pen Congrats misspalot and skyeho FTF

The university of NSW was first slated after the Second World War when the nation needed engineering. The university was created in 1949 but move from ultimo to the current site in 1951 The university started with engineering but broadened its subjects and faculties in the 1960s. The buildings have always been expanding with the work still continuing to make the university more modern. When I went through the university in 1993-1996 the expansion was in full flight but I admit that when I walk through the uni I don't recognise half of it. The cache is located behind what in my day was chemistry but is now the Australian school of business. The picnic tables will allow some time to reflect the likely area. The GPS is sketchy here so I have added some hints to help you out.
