TELEFÉRICO DO LARANO
O sítio do Larano é um dos muitos sítios do Porto da Cruz, o qual se encontra a 10 minutos da vila.
Em 2002 iniciaram-se as obras de construção do teleférico que liga o sítio do Cabo de Larano ao Curral do Mar, sendo as mesmas concluídas em 2006.
Conforme algumas pesquisas que efectuei pela Internet, o teleférico que foi construído com o intuito de auxiliar os agricultores que tinham terrenos nas zonas próximas ao mar, afinal parece que nunca funcionou.
Fica aqui mais um local escondido pelas terras do Porto da Cruz, com muita pena do mesmo não ter tido ainda a devida utilidade para que foi projectado.
The place of Larano is one of many places of Porto da Cruz, which is 10 minutes from the village.
In 2002 it began the construction of the cable car that connects the place of Cabo de Larano to the Curral do Mar, the same being completed in 2006.
As I made some research on the Internet, the cable car was built with the intention of assisting farmers who had land in areas near the sea, after all it seems that never worked.
Here is another hidden spot in the places of Porto da Cruz, with pity of it have not yet had a proper use for which it was designed.
