A escola da fajã é uma antiga escola primária que servia essencialmente à população mais jovem da Fajã da Ribeira, Sítio da Murteira e Meia Légua. Escola no ano de 1994: http://www.youtube.com/watch?=SOo5jhRBCJ8
Deixou de ser escola no ano de 2007 e atualmente está dividida em duas associações:
- Do lado Sul encontra-se situada a sede dos Escuteiros da Ribeira Brava;
- Do lado Norte encontra-se situada a sede da Associação de Motards da Ribeira Brava (AMRB).
A cache
Esta é uma multi-cache que tem como objetivo dar a conhecer um pouco da história da escola da fajã da Ribeira. A parte mais desafiadora desta cache é a subida final. Para chegares às etapas finais segue as seguintes Stages:

Stage 2: Dirige-te às coordenadas que obteste na etapa anterior. Aí encontrarás as coordenadas finais.
Observações
- Duração aproximada: 30 minutos
- Não fazer esta cache à noite!
- Levar calçado adequado para fazer alguma escalada que seja eventualmente necessária para chegar até à etapa final!

The school of Fajã da Ribeira is an elementary school that was used essentialy by the kids of Fajã da Ribeira, Murteira and Meia Légua. This was the school in 1994: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOo5jhRBCJ8
It was closed in 2007 and nowadays its used by two different associations:
- On the South segment there is the headquarters of Scouts;
- On the North segment there is the headquarter of
Motards Association of Ribeira Brava
(AMRB).
The cache
This is a multi-cache which has the objective of letting people know a little bit more about this school. The biggest challenge of this cache is the final climbing. To find the final stage follow this stages:
Stage 1: Go to the coordinates and look at the school. Answer the following questions:
How many windows do you see?

- Six - N 32º 41.183 W017º 03.078
- Seven - N 32º 41.183 W017º 03.287
Stage 2: Go to the coordinates you've obtained in the previous stage. There you'll find the coordinates for the final stage.
Notes
- Aproximate duration: 30 minutes.
- It is not recomended to do this cache at night!
- Bring appropriated shoes to do a little bit of climbing needed to get to the final stage
