O horizonte é definido como a linha aparente ao longo da qual, em lugares abertos e planos, observamos que o céu parece tocar a superfície terrestre ou o mar. Pela definição, pode se considerá-lo mesmo em áreas não planas, embora não se possa observar. Na situação ideal - a pessoa está em pé, na praia, e ao nível do mar - uma pessoa de 1,80 metro de altura enxergará o horizonte a uma distância de cerca de 5,6 quilómetros. A partir deste ponto o objecto estará "atrás" do horizonte.
O percurso até ao GZ é curto mas bastante perigoso pois há bastante rocha solta nos degraus e as varandas estão estragadas em algumas zonas. Não recomendado para fazer à noite! Veja a hint para saber mais sobre o container!

The horizon is the apparent line that separates earth from sky, the line that divides all visible directions into two categories: those that intersect the Earth's surface, and those that do not. At many locations, the true horizon is obscured by trees, buildings, mountains, etc., and the resulting intersection of earth and sky is called the visible horizon. When looking at a sea from a shore, the part of the sea closest to the horizon is called the offing.
The route to the GZ is short but quite dangerous because there is plenty of loose rock on the stairs and the balconies are damaged in some areas. Not recommended to do at night! See the hint to learn more about the container!
