Giant Thank You! to HalifaxJac who came along with me all over the island, before we got to Event GZ a couple of minutes late and found Neil waiting for us. Great to meet you again and thanks for all the TBs and pen (left in Norway) and I trust you've put your AANDs to use, or dropped them into caches...

Event photos will follow on my Attended log, so add this meet to your watch list if you'd like to see them (so many caches/events to catch up on!). Also lovely to see Rosie shortly after the meet, close by. Under my 'Herm Rule', she logs this event with my blessing as she saw me on the island on the right day.

Geocache Description:

Herm is the target for this cache event.
The smallest of the habitable C.I.s
Because I enjoyed my last visit here, back in 2010.

When: NOTE THE CHANGE OF DATE! 2pm-3pm, TUESDAY June 10th 2014. Sorry for the last-minute swap with GC4VEV2 Alderney Away Day!

Where: On the Grand Monceau rocks on the west side of the island, above the coast path, with views across to Rat Island and Guernsey.

What: A picnic meet to talk caching and swap caching stories as well as travel items.

Why: Because there are several caches on Herm (that I've not found. There were just five when I was last here in 2010!), and where there are caches there are cachers... Plus it's been said that a cacher in posession of a good GPS must be in want of a geocaching meet...

Who: Cachers from far and wide, I hope, plus their dogs and offspring. New to caching or cache events? You'll be made especially welcome.
