The Food Pot Luck
We are leaving this open, so it will be a true pot luck, what ever we get is what we will have to share. We will be providing the meat, buns, plates, silverware, cups and coffee. We have a kitchen this year so anyone wanting to bring slow cookers full of great food, we have a place for them.
New Caches
There will be new caches placed for this event. It has always been may intent to never place any cache smaller than a "small" container. All new caches will be based on "Something from before 2000, is all I am saying now."
We will be drawing for the "First to Find" on each of them at 9:00 AM. After a little caching, everyone will return to the Hall and we will have a Pot Luck Dinner at 1:30 PM.
Door Prizes
There will be door prizes drawings at the main event. If you have anything you want to add to the donations feel free to bring them. A donation is NOT required.
Do You Remember...
All the new caches this year are going to have a little challenge to them to see if you really do remember when. For all the very young cachers that are to young to remember, say the 40's or 50's you will have your smart phones and your best friend will be google. Don't worry to much about it, I will keep it easy enough.
Camping & Lodging
The Interlochen State Park will be open to camping.
There are a couple small local hotels and cabins in the Interlochen area. To find the larger chain hotel check out the Traverse City area.
