Well folks, it can't get much earlier in the year than this!
Meet us New Years Day, Jan 1, 2014 at One O'clock PM (13:00) as the series makes its first trip to Allaire State Park!
Neither snow nor rain nor cold nor gloom of night stays these cachers from a Geocaching Event! The park consists of 3,205 acres of mixed terrain hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, swamp mucking, camping and of course caching opportunities (map). At this time of the year the historic village and Pine Creek Railroad will be closed but the grills will be smokin' to keep us warm if the weather is as cold as we hope it will be.
We'll stay until the first cacher freezes!
Please post a note if you'll be attending and what you'll be bringing. We'll supply a new cache or two, charcoal for the grills and some snacks. If you made it to one of the previous First BBQ events you know you can't miss this one!
