Houndtor Wood Hike - The final one - Phew! Traditional Geocache

This is the final cache on a circular walk of just over 3 miles taking in a beautiful wooded river valley. The path is wet, muddy and uneven in places. The walk involves a fairly steep descent and obviously an uphill stretch to return to the car.

There is a flood on the way to this one before you reach the tarmacced road at the moment, not sure whether it is always there or not. This one is placed on a narrow road but it is a very quiet dead end one! Please take care though.

The first half of the walk meets up with the River Bovey in Houndtor Wood and follows it down the valley through woodland owned by Natural England and then you return via the Woodland Trust reserve.

The GPS signal is not very good along this route but hopefully with the given hints it should be ok!
