Geocache Description:

This is the fifth cache on a circular walk of just over 3 miles taking in a beautiful wooded river valley. The path is wet, muddy and uneven in places. The walk involves a fairly steep descent and obviously an uphill stretch to return to the car.

The first half of the walk meets up with the River Bovey in Houndtor Wood and follows it down the valley through woodland owned by Natural England and then you return via the Woodland Trust reserve.
