Geocache Description:

Christmas Tree is a way of brightening up (and probably confusing) the regular dogwalkers and families who come out and stretch their legs in the area.

Although the cache is a traditional, the route from the carpark takes you past The Tree.

The published coordinates are for cache, which is an ammo can.

This is now a straightforward cache, but the text below will give you an idea of the purpose during the Christmas period. Don't add decs to the tree now.

Please add to the decorations on the tree, which you'll see about half way to the cache, to the left of the path, which will add to the confusion of the many dogwalkers that frequent this location.

When set up, it had one piece of tinsel. We want all cachers to bring a tree decoration with them to add to the display, so that in a few weeks, it'll be a sight to behold!

Please take a photo of the tree, so we can see it evolve!

To take the decorations down after Christmas, come along to The Happening 26 - 12th Night at The Tree at 6.30pm on Monday 6th January 2014 - We'll take them down, finish off the mulled wine and mince pies, then adjourn to a local hostelry.

PLEASE DON'T LEAVE IT TIL THEN TO VISIT THE TREE. THAT'LL DEFEAT THE OBJECT!
